Temperature and Humidity Control

After the casting of clay mixed with water in the molds, the ceramic products fall into the dryers to remove the water gradually and evenly along the profile curve. The adjustment is made up of nine timer assignments and 8 timekeeping intervals. Another regulator measures humidity and controls a flow of pre-dried air. Depending on the material, the technologist selects a drying profile and number of cycles in humidity and temperature programs. Air drying is by means of fans and sluices for supplying of atmospheric oxygen to the flame of natural gas burners.
The topology includes two clusters with up to 31 RS-485 Modbus RTU serial communications, and repeaters of serial communication are used to amplify the signal. All the regulators are gradually replaced with JUMO, dTRANS 304.
