Monitoring of quenching lines

The application comprises 8 cooling lines and three quenching lines in factory A but later expanded with 7 cooling lines and 2 quenching lines in factory B. The tempering process requires first heating of the strip on which the glass products are laid, to increase their strength. Then they pass through zones of heating and cooling. The temperature of each zone is controlled by a regulator whose job is selected locally or by SCADA. In the quenching lines, by temperature, additional energy is added to the structure of the glass to increase its mechanical properties against scratching, cracking, and breaking.
The topology includes serial and Ethernet communication, and gateways of communication are used to secure the cable routes.
